As part of the AFIC Leadership Meeting 2026 activities in Hanoi, on the afternoon of June 26, 2026, the delegation of the ASEAN Furniture Industries Council (AFIC) paid a field visit to Woodsland Factory and Huy Hoang Lock Factory in Quang Minh Industrial Park.
At Woodsland Factory, the AFIC delegation had the opportunity to learn about the company’s overall scale of operations, production capacity, and manufacturing processes for wooden furniture products. Through the factory tour, delegates recognized the company’s systematic investment in its production system, operational technology, and development orientation toward a sustainable wood and furniture supply chain.
Continuing the program, the delegation visited Huy Hoang Lock Factory, where they learned about the production of locks, door accessories, and supporting solutions for the construction and interior industries. The visit provided delegates with further insights into the role of the accessories sector in completing interior products, while also opening up opportunities for networking, experience sharing, and cooperation among businesses across the ASEAN region.
The field visit offered AFIC delegates a practical perspective on the production capabilities of Vietnamese enterprises within the wood, furniture, and interior accessories value chains. At the same time, the program contributed to strengthening connections among associations and businesses in ASEAN, expanding cooperation opportunities, and promoting the development of the ASEAN furniture industry in a more sustainable, efficient, and competitive direction.
