Since 1996, Mr Rochimat has been actively involved as member of Young President Organization (YPO)/World President Organization (WPO) and held the following positions:

For over 10 years, Erick Luwia has been involved with the Indonesian Furniture and Handicraft Association (ASMINDO) and is one of the leaders of the ASEAN Youth Furniture Exchange program. His family business (www.cvp.co.id) involves working with various materials to create furniture and handicraft to be exported all over the globe.
Sustainable sourcing has always been a core value at CVP and Erick’s personal mission. His goal is to convey his mission to multiple stakeholders through his work and involvement in various organizations.

Rudy Temasoa Luwia was born in Sukabumi on April 15, 1959. He graduated from the Faculty of Technics, Trisakti University in 1984. As a young engineer with an entrepreneurial spirit, Mr Luwia founded his company CVP in 1997. CVP is a furniture manufacturer specializing in both indoor and outdoor furniture and accessories made from Lloyd Loom, wood, rattan, synthetic wicker, metal, and leather. CVP delivers its products locally and internationally.
CVP continues to sustain traditional Indonesian craftsmanship in every product. With Mr Luwia’s leadership, he ensures the art of furniture making is passed down to future generations.
Mr Luwia has successfully developed CVP to become a notable world-class exporter with a strong client base. 45% of clients are based in Europe, 35% in North America, 10% in Asia, and 10% in Oceania and others.
As an avid environmentalist, Mr Luwia ensures all CVP’s materials are ethically sourced and environmentally friendly. Mr Luwia has been active in various positions within the Indonesian Association of Furniture and Craft Industries (ASMINDO) and still acts as an Executive Advisor today.

Mr Phua Boon Huat is the President of the Singapore Furniture Industries Council. He has served in the SFIC Executive Committee since 2010 and takes on several portfolios, including internationalisation and business innovation. He is also on the Board of Directors for the SFIC Institute and Chairman of the SFIC Sustainability Taskforce.
By profession, Boon Huat is the Director of AlphaLeap Consulting Pte Ltd, a management consultancy focusing on partnering companies, especially within the furniture eco-system, to develop or improve their macro business strategies within the global context.
Prior to founding AlphaLeap Consulting, he has 13 years of experience within the furniture manufacturing sector.
Boon Huat is also currently managing the family’s single-family office, where he is actively involved in seeking out venture start-up opportunities across different industries.
Boon Huat holds a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) Degree from the University of Newcastle, Australia and a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Adelaide, Australia.

Mr. Ernie Koh is the Presidential Advisor of the Singapore Furniture Industries Council. He has served on the SFIC Executive Committee since 1992.
He is also the President of the Singapore Retailers Association, Council Member of Singapore Business Federation and Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Advisory Panel Member of the SFIC Institute as well as Member of the SFIC Sustainability Taskforce.
By profession, Ernie is the Executive Director of Koda Ltd (listed in Singapore Stock Exchange 2001) and the Chairman of Commune Lifestyle Pte Ltd (100% subsidiary of Koda Ltd). He has significant experience in international marketing and is at the helm of the Group’s marketing initiatives, particularly in customer relationship management, client base diversification, trade fairs participation, new product launches and marketing talent recruitment. During his tenure of over 25 years with Koda, he has rapidly expanded Koda’s market share, reaching out to more than 120 customers across more than 40 countries globally.
Ernie holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Oregon (USA) and a Master’s in Business Administration (International Marketing) from San Francisco State University (USA).

Mr Jerry Tan is the Advisor of the ASEAN Furniture Industries Council and a senior Executive Committee leader of the Singapore Furniture Industries Council (SFIC) since its inception in 1981.
Over these years, the Singapore furniture industry benefited tremendously from his very able leadership and wealth of experience. He has been instrumental in initiating and organising several international marketing and trade development programmes for the industry. His wealth of experience in regional furniture trade issues also puts him in good stead to play the key role in fast tracking AFIC’s strategic initiatives to accelerate the growth of the ASEAN furniture industries.
By profession, Jerry is the Managing Director of Jaco Singapore Pte Ltd.
Established in 1977, Jaco Singapore’s main line of business lies in designing, production and marketing of rattan and wooden furniture. It is also an established trader and buying agent for overseas department stores, sourcing from the ASEAN/Asian region for Australia and Europe, primarily.
