Hosted under Vietnamโ€™s AFIC Chairmanship, this yearโ€™s meeting serves as an important regional platform to strengthen cooperation, enhance supply chain connectivity, and promote the collective competitiveness of the ASEAN furniture industry.

Strengthening dialogue with the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment of Vietnam to exchange views on opportunities for regional cooperation in ASEAN in the forestry, wood processing, and furniture sectors.

Held at the Vietnam Academy of Forest Sciences, with the participation of PEFC International as Sustainability Partner, the seminar will focus on sustainable forest management, legal timber, traceability, and forest certification as key requirements for the ASEAN furniture industry.

Through showroom and factory visits to leading Vietnamese enterprises, including Minh Long Wood, Woodsland JSC, and Huy Hoang Locks, the programme will highlight Vietnamโ€™s manufacturing strengths, supporting industries, and opportunities for deeper supply chain collaboration within ASEAN.
